About our Sanctuary
Helping people and animals has always been my passion.  In 2011 we took in an old Percheron that had numerous health problems along with being very underweight.  As months passed we put weight on him and made him much more comfortable.  It was during this time I discovered my true calling in life and it became what it is today. This Sanctuary is really a family love affair and we all make sacrifices to help those in need. I am a stay at home mother of three daughters whom I home school; therefore I am able to provide round the clock care for the horses that live here.  We have been very fortunate to lease land for our Sanctuary. You'll find us on the outskirts of Randallstown, Md.

News From Around the Farm and What We Have Been Up To:

***2021**

This year has been... challenging to say the least, but we always soldier on. Our main saying is: the show must go on.

Our personal lives here have had a major change. We are waiting for a lot of things to smooth out for us and adjusting. As you can image we have had some things put on hold. But, we want everyone to know that we will do everything we can to keep life as stable as possible for the animals here.

We also have been working hard to catch up on farm clean up and improvements. We had another extension added to the one run in. As well as after much thought we have decided that it would be in the sanctuary’s best interest if we could take in a few boarders. As you may know we already have one named Lulu and her human Sue have been a great addition to the sanctuary. As much as we hope this decision helps us here - we also want to be very selective as to who we bring to the farm. We want to make sure it is always a low key and easy transition for all.

We had some very unfortunate losses this year and they never get easier. We always try out hardest and exhaust all options we can for these lives, but sometimes the ultimate sacrifice for them is to release them from their discomfort while still leaving them some dignity and respect. We may loss them but we NEVER forget what they brought to this sanctuary as individuals.

With a very heavy heart we said good bye to our sweet Blue on 9/20/21. He was surrounded by all of his favorite people, a pile of hay and all the grass he wanted. His previous owner Lauren was able to be present to say a final goodbye as Blue crossed the rainbow bridge. Blue lived longer than vets predicted. He loved life and loved his people. It was my honor to give Blue the care in his final years.

We also experienced a loss in our extended animal lover family. We lost Bill Harris a large supporter of what we do here. He loved all the animals and followed the updates and stories closely. He is dearly missed.

I can’t thank you all enough. Your support makes sure we can continue doing what we do. This is my dream. My passion. This farm is who I am. I will never stop.

If you can’t send money – promoting our posts and information is just as helpful to us as anything else! Nothing is ever too little to help out animals in need.
